7.31.25 // A Hand for the Dolomites

The Dolomites were better than I could have imagined. I’d spent just one day there in 2019, so I knew the craggy peaks would be beautiful. But, this time, the moments I got to spend in the Dolomites completely blew my small understanding of their magic away.
.
The trails were pristine, often shared with local cuties ranging from cows and sheep to foals.
.
The lakes were breathtaking, especially the one that looked exactly like childhood memories of Glacier Freeze Gatorade.
.
Every moment felt like a gift, with mountain weather that shifted from warm sun-kisses to gentle rain caresses. Being immersed in those peaks reminded me that wonder still exists, and that presence is always waiting for me to notice, if I remember to reach for it.
.
And if it looks like I had a hand in every photo... maybe it’s because I couldn’t help but try to hold on to it all.
