I'm heading back to Death Valley soon!

Missing someone, something, or someplace is one of the greatest pains and deepest pleasures of being human.

I wonder if she would be proud of me…?

I’m convinced language can be deeply limiting. Language as labels takes incredibly complex beings and tries to put them in boxes for others to understand.

Have I become a desert dreamer?

It's the yearning for sweet and slow days when life felt simple, responsibilities felt far away, and time felt more like honey and less like water - both slipping through my fingers but one with a stickiness that lingers.

But there is so much more to me than that 1%.

A year ago, I posted some of the glimmers in life lately that are bringing me joy. In hopes of making a tradition, here are the glimmers I have from this spring so far…

R2R2R has been on my shortlist of wants for a long time. And this past weekend, I was able to experience it!

My body feels like it's somewhere in the middle.

Spring is the light after the darkness,

I feel alive in Europe…

Maybe we're never meant to find a home in the places that hold us…

I am someone who trusts openly. I take pride in my ability to trust and my willingness to trust.

But, the beauty of a day decorated with that four-letter word, is an incredible opportunity to understand, reflect, and open our minds to what so deeply impacts our hearts.

As the old saying goes, "The journey is more important than the destination..." But what happens when you fall so in love with the journey that you no longer know the destination?

I'm learning to ski...for the 4th time.

Mornings have started earlier lately...

Sometimes my heart feels like a vacated home.
